The Fellowship
of Flavour
Based in the historical City of Cambridge, Town & Gown Events was started by local residents Chris, and Tom.
Combining their affinity for coffee and passion for keeping up with emerging trends within the beverage industry.
We provide creative bar solutions for a range of events from corporate parties to major sporting events. We have gained a reputation for delivering fantastic experiences and lasting relationships.
We run a mobile bar service from our iconic converted London taxis, serving our own origin Congolese coffee, draught cocktails, craft beer, prosecco and even Pimms.
During the Summer of 2020, the world stopped due to the pandemic. We had an ambition to do something different, and thought it was time to think outside the box. So we took an iconic London taxi and combined it with Coffee! Then we added Cocktails!

We can serve literally thousands of drinks at an event without compromising quality. Using a state-of-the-art draught cocktail system, we can produce cocktails at high speed with amazing consistency.
So your guests can enjoy premium quality drinks without having to queue. At the Cambridge Mayball we served more than 40,000 cocktails at 7 events over 6 nights

Experts
With 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry we know a thing or two about premium products and how to serve them.
Our staff have competed in the European and World Finals for cocktail competitions, representing some of the world’s most famous brands – Beefeater Gin, Bombay Sapphire and Buffalo Trace Whiskey.

COCKTAILS
We create and design themed menus especially for your event. We’ll happily accommodate all tastes and needs – including catering for the growing demand for low-and-no drinks. And we can do this at volume!
COFFEE
The beans are organic and fairtrade certified. They also have incredible flavour, inspiring our specially trained baristas to create great-tasting coffees, and our mixologists to create next-level Espresso Martinis.
OUR VALUES;
A commitment beyond fairtrade
Our coffee is Organic and Fairtrade certified. Working directly with coffee-bean farmers from Sud-Kivu (DR Congo), offering them above national market prices for quality Organic beans. We provide employment for more than 100 local villagers mostly women with no prospects of employment due to the social and economic conditions. According to the farmers’ testimonies the salaries they gain are playing a big role in helping them support their families.
A cause close to our heart and often ignored is children living with albinism
In the Democratic Republic of Congo they often face discrimination and exclusion from their peers and the community, often mislabelled as ndundu (supernatural) and associated with witchcraft which further alienates them from society. They are deprived from rights to life, liberty, security and access to adequate healthcare.
Les Enfants Du Monde is an organisation ran by Mrs Marie Ange Meko that provides children with albinism with supplies of sun protection creams and equipments to safely carry out everyday tasks but also a safe space for them and their families to enjoy sporting activities..
SUSTAINABILITY
AT OUR CORE
As a business we pride ourselves on being environmentally conscious, and respectful of our local and wider communities. We have partnered with the Sustainable Spirit Company to reduce our carbon footprint by dramatically reducing packaging and wastage.
For hot drinks we use NaturePac Fully Recyclable Cups which have an EarthCoating on the inside. This means it is certificated to be recycled along with paper and card without the need for special processes. We also partner with Circular & Co for our re-useable coffee and cocktail cups.
